BBI Architects was founded in 2002 by Brent Bueche, who believed that learning the client's business and truly understanding what the client needs is one of the most important parts of the job.  Today, our clients benefit from this philosphy with "Spaces that Work" effectively and efficiently, with no small nod to artistry.

As a full service architectural firm with local and national clients, we offer expertise from programming through construction.  Our relaxed style is complimented with state-of-the-art technologies.


On thing that sets us apart is our specialization in clients who are customer focused.  The "customer" may be defined differently in each situation.  For example, in a quick-serve restaurant, the customers are the hundreds of hungry people served each day.  In a retail environment, it is the shoppers selecting their purchases and in an office building, it is the workers who will spend most of their day in the same setting.


Our focus is on creating a positive customer experience for those end-users, the people who will actually use the building, whether it's a retail space, a restaurant, or any customer focused environment.


Real Buildings for Real People


Because our focus is on creating a good customer experience, we like to say we design real buildings for real people.  Getting to know the needs of those real people is key to the way we work, so we spend a lot of time learning about the end-user's experience and exactly what our client's goals are for that experience.


The functionality of the building is just as important as a beautiful design.  As aresult, we pay a lot of attention to the basics and understand the importance of using the right materials and exact specifications for each situation.  These are critical considerations for ensuring that building really does "work".


We also want to do our part to protect the environment, wo we are always looking for opportunities to create a design that is just a little "greener".  Our common sense approach is to look at every project at its inception - finding ways to integrate energy efficiency and the use of sustainable materials where we can, and where it makes sense for the good of the project and the owner.  We have Accredited Professionals on staff who can manage your LEED project from start to finish.  The restaurants and retail businesses we deal with care about the environment, their customers care, and we care here at BBI Architects.
