Truett's Grill - Griffin, GA
CFA Real Estate Truett Cathey, CEO
Art-Deco / Art Moderne inspired diner / quick service restaurant concept centered around a transportation them complimenting the client's eclectic memorabilia collection.
The client wanted a full service restaurant with a themed dining area, but also wanted to include a separate quick-serve dining room. This would be a "one of a kind" restaurant, creating a unique dining experience.
BBI Architects spent a lot of time consulting with the client to understand what it was he was trying to achieve. With a transporation theme, the client wanted to explore how to incorporate a 1920's era trolley car within the building. We collaborated with our client and his collections to best figure out how to aesthetically blend all the elements of his collection together. The transportation theme and eclectic selection of memorabilia was best brought together by a diner inspired by the Art Deco / Art Moderne style.
After careful consultation with the client, we elected to divide the overall building space of 5,000 square feet in half to accomplish the dual purpose design. We were able to design the flow of the kitchen to serve both areas while maintaining efficient product flow and food safety.
BBI was proud to be associated with this addition to Griffin, Georgia. It was done to the highest standards and will create many memorable experiences for the local residents for years to come!
