Design a 17,000 retail strip center to accommodate a signature new design for the Rotolo's brand and house other retail & restaurant tenants.
The location of the strip center was in a PUD (Planned Unit Development) that only allowed 12,000 SF retail.
Working diligently with the client and other development owners within the PUD, BBI successfully negotiated an additional 5,000 square feet in leasable space, substantially improving the financial viability of the project.
We obtained a letter from the owners of other property within the PUD that allowed us to increase the amount of retail and make some compromises on the amount of buffer space between our new development and their already existing development.
All of this happened in a very condensed timeline and we managed to keep the project reasonably on schedule. Our senior staff rose to the challenge to protect the interests of our client.
