New National Prototype Stores Design and Management
To know and understand where the company is taking the brand and to be constantly innovative in anticipating their needs and what they are trying to accomplish. This becomes critically important is when you consider that the environment that we design is where the customer physically interacts with the brand.
In terms of the building program the primary challenges are:
- Managing and being aware of the ever changing conditions ranging from future project locations, upcoming design changes from owner, equipment changes, trends in sizes of sites and site layouts.
- Managing a myriad of consultants, engineers, vendors, material supplier’s designers and others
- Staying on top of trends in the restaurant industry, from design trends to building code changes.
- Always looking for ways to get projects built faster and cheaper.
Communication, communication, communication….listening, hearing.
Paying attention to our client’s customer and how they interact with projects.
Partnering with the client and knowing them well enough so that decisions can be made as if these projects were our own.
Collaborate, facilitate and work together with the team involved in accomplishing the project.
Be knowledgable of the industry and involved in code developments affecting the industry.
